Meet Mandie McGarry, our new Regional Development Manager

We’re thrilled to welcome Mandie McGarry to the team as our new Regional Development Manager covering the Midlands!

Mandie brings a wealth of experience and a truly inspiring journey to Covéa Insurance. She began her career in broking, eventually becoming a Director at a brokerage in Bristol.

After a life-changing experience with meningitis, Mandie took a step back, sold her shares, and set off on a two-year adventure travelling the world.

When she returned, she made Birmingham her home and transitioned into the insurer side of the industry, starting with Ace (now Chubb). Since then, Mandie has held senior roles with some of the biggest names in insurance, including heading up the National Broker Unit at Allianz in Birmingham. Her ability to build strong relationships and deliver results has made her a trusted partner for brokers across the Midlands and beyond.

Alongside her career, Mandie has also dedicated time to voluntary work with St Basils, a Midlandsbased charity supporting homeless young people aged 16 to 19. She even opens her home to those in need, offering a safe place to stay when it matters most—a commitment that reflects her values of care

and support.

We’re excited to welcome someone who not only brings exceptional industry experience but also such a strong sense of community. That combination makes Mandie the perfect fit for Covéa and for the brokers we work with.

Outside of work, Mandie enjoys staying active through yoga, exploring new recipes, and hosting lively dinner parties. She’s passionate about health and nutrition, and loves bringing people together over great food.
