Being 100% intermediated means you, our brokers are at the heart of everything we do. We choose to work with a limited number of partners to offer exclusivity in the market, which makes listening to feedback not just important, but essential. Our recent broker survey was a powerful reminder of this, highlighting both the areas where our teams are excelling and the opportunities to evolve in response to changing customer demands.
As customer expectations shift, understanding the needs of broker’s enables us to adapt our proposition, remain relevant, and be a true partner of choice. But feedback is only the beginning. What matters most is how we act on it, engaging wider teams across Covéa to ensure we continue doing what really matters for our brokers.
To mark the occasion and show our appreciation, a donation was made for every broker who took part in the survey, with a total of 972 meals donated to the Halifax Community Fridge, a local initiative that’s been supporting residents since August 2020. Originally launched during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the fridge provides daily access to food and essentials for those in need, 365 days a year.
But it’s more than just a fridge. The organisation has expanded to offer:
Package for Sandy – a discreet sanitary product scheme for women.
Pet Food Project – partnering with charities to support pet owners.
Winter Coat Project – distributing donated coats during colder months.
Jilani’s Kitchen – serving hot meals every Wednesday.
Helpers – supporting women and children fleeing domestic violence.
Our donation will help keep the fridge stocked as we head into winter, a time when demand typically increases. It’s a small gesture that will make a big difference to individuals and families in our community.
“The donation from Covéa and it's Brokers will go a long way in supporting all of these vital initiatives. In particular, it will help ensure that the Community Fridge remains well-stocked as we head into the colder winter months, a time when demand for support typically increases. This contribution will make a significant difference to the lives of many individuals and families in our community who rely on these services. We simply could not do what we do without the continued support of generous organisations like Covéa. Thank you!” - Abid Khan, Volunteer at Halifax Community Fridge
By listening to our brokers and acting with purpose, we’re not only strengthening our partnerships, we’re helping build a better future for everyone.
