de Macedo
Chief Executive Officer
Georges de Macedo was appointed Chief Executive Officer in June 2023 at Covéa Insurance. He brings a wealth of expertise, with over fifteen years’ experience in the insurance market.
Georges lives in London, with his family and enjoys sporting activities.

Personal Lines Director
Sue has been in the industry for 33 years and with Covéa for 17 years. She loves the variety of the role but particularly being out in the market.
Sue's life outside work revolves around family, so her passion is anything to do with them, particularly when she goes on holiday with them.

Ferrari
Chief Financial Officer
As our CFO, Claire is responsible for supporting the business through financial control and analysis. With 30 years of experience in major insurance and reinsurance companies, Claire is a fully qualified French actuary and insurance practitioner.
Claire enjoys travelling, mostly in countries where the weather is not too hot, so working for a UK company just made sense! When she is not travelling, Claire likes to spend time with her 2 cats that she calls her babies!

Commercial Lines Director
As Commercial Lines Director, Keith is responsible for leading the Commercial Lines team and driving profitable growth through service excellence and underwriting performance.
Keith supports the best football club in the Universe, Leeds United (Marching On Together!), enjoys gardening and country walks, and hitting old cars with a hammer.

Stephen
Long
Claims and Operations Director
Having joined Provident Insurance as a Graduate Trainee in 2001, Stephen has worked in a wide variety of roles across Claims, Customer Services, Marketing and Sales. Stephen has an MBA and a degree in Business & Management Studies from the University of Bradford, and is ACII qualified with Chartered Insurer status.
Outside of work, football and family take up most of his spare time. He's married to Emma and they have two older children - Megan and Callum.
Catherine

Pricing and Data Director
Catherine is responsible for technical pricing, market pricing, and our data transformation. She plays a key role in supporting our business growth and profitability, whilst ensuring we continue to deliver real value for our customers.
Some of her hobbies include baking, travelling, and playing music on the Clarinet, Piano and Guitar.
Lisa

Chief People Officer
Lisa is our Chief People Officer, appointed to the Executive Committee in 2019. Lisa is responsible for leading, developing and implementing the People Strategy and developing Covéa’s inclusive culture.
Lisa is married to Tom, who works in insurance broking. They have two children: Archie, soon heading to university, and Nicole, who Lisa supports in horse riding as a groom and HGV driver. Lisa occasionally borrows a friend's horse, adding to her equestrian adventures. She enjoys walking her dogs, Connie and Lexi, and loves being outdoors. Lisa is also passionate about travel and discovering new cultures.

Rawlings
Director of Business Transformation
As Director of Business Transformation Nick is responsible for leading company-wide transformation and strategic initiatives. He joined Covéa in 2017 and has held a number of leadership roles in product management, transformation and design. He is a passionate advocate of design thinking.
Nick is married to Helen, they have two children and a black labrador called Woody. Nick loves travel and adventure, when he's not travelling the world he can be found exploring the UK in his VW campervan. Nick also chairs a youth football team as he is an FA qualified coach and is on the board for a charity which supports disadvantaged young people.

Chief Risk Officer
Emeric is a risk and insurance expert, bringing over 20 years of experience to his role as Chief Risk Officer at Covéa Insurance. He advocates for a strong risk framework leveraging his extensive knowledge of the UK insurance industry.
Emeric is married to Axelle and they have 2 children. Together, they enjoy spending time near the Atlantic coast where Emeric sails and fishes. They also love to trek and ski in the French alps. Emeric is also an amateur photographer.

Strategic Distribution Manager
Mike has been at Covéa for over 10 years and has progressed from a Regional Distribution role to now managing our larger partners on a national scale. He enjoys the variety of different people he meets in the industry at all levels.
Mike is a keen footballer, and his passion is supporting his daughter who plays for Bradford City girls, and watching the girls game progress across the country.
Leighton

Regional Development Manager
Leighton is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry.
For the past six years, he has been a dedicated member of the Covea team, where he looks after the south west and Wales regions for our commercial lines team. Leighton thrives on the variety his role offers, finding each day rewarding.
Beyond his career, he is passionate about health and fitness, and is currently pursuing a qualification to become a fitness trainer. At home, Leighton enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and their three dogs.”

Mark joined Covéa in April 2024 and has over 20 years' experience in the industry from broking, underwriting and wholesale to business development.
Away from insurance, he volunteers for a mental health charity which is Andy's Man Club.

I joined Covea in Feb 2021 after over 20 years with my previous employer. I have been doing my current role for over 15 years and previously spent time in the claims environment, I really enjoy getting to meet new people, discuss opportunities and build a partnership with our brokers. In my spare time I like to travel and am often planning my next adventure with my wife, I enjoy watching sports and going to gigs too’

Britt has been at Covéa for over 5 years and enjoys her role as Regional Sales Manager. In Commercial Sales we're rolling out our SME Experts proposition, including our 'One Quote to Market' and BIBA will be a great way for even more brokers to learn about our future plans.
Britt is an avid runner outside of work, completing marathons and Ultras.

Commercial Underwriting Director
Debbie joined us 3 years ago and at the beginning of the year was promoted to Commercial Underwriting Director, leading our commercial underwriting and pricing teams.
Debbie is based in Glasgow and is currently happily renovating her home.

Regional Development Manager
Owen Hendry has been with Covéa for over 16 years, bringing a wealth of experience from his extensive career in the insurance industry including with major insurers, at an MGA and also at a Commercial Broker. This broad experience has allowed him to manage both Regional and National relationships effectively.
Outside of work, Owen is passionate about staying active. He enjoys running with his local running club and has served as the treasurer for a kids' football club. He also spends quality time with his family, often taking them to cricket and football matches and engaging in paddleboarding, a hobby they share

Travelling fuels her adventurous spirit and helps create memories with her family. Steph also enjoys watching a good tv show and reading a book.

James has been with Covéa for 6 years. The thing he enjoys most is being active in the market and delivering service excellence for our Commercial Lines proposition with our broker partners.
Outside of work he enjoys spending quality time with his family. James is also a keen walker and an avid motorsport and football fan.

Broker Development Consultant
Jacob has been a dedicated member of Covéa for five years, having joined the company in 2020 in an operational role. Before, Jacob transitioned into the Commercial Distribution team, where he continues to make significant contributions.
Outside of his professional life, Jacob is an avid rugby player for Ilkley Rugby Club. He also enjoys spending time with his black Labrador and has a passion for traveling. Recently, he took a sabbatical to explore South East Asia, enriching his experiences and broadening his horizons.

e-Trade Specialist Development Consultant
Matt has been with us for nearly two years, joining Covéa on the Commercial Lines Graduate program. He has worked in different areas around commercial such as underwriting and technical underwriting, until he found his home in the sales team - and has recently moving into the role of e-Trade Specialist Development Consultant.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys going to the gym, playing golf and is an avid Chelsea supporter.

Lee has been at Covéa for 14 years and leads Covéa's Commercial Lines Sales and Distribution teams. He loves spending time with our brokers discussing how we work closer together to build strong profitable accounts.
Lee is a Football Assistant Referee in the English Championship and has officiated at all of the current 24 championship grounds, including Wembley.

This year is Sara's 20th year at Covéa. Sara finds her role to be challenging and rewarding with responsibilities varying from service excellence to understanding and responding to emerging risks.
Sara enjoys renovating and In 2019 she built her our dream house (not literally, she had a team of builders!)

Head of Trading and Development
Dan has been in the industry for 35+ years, and the last 5 (most enjoyable) at Covéa, in various distribution and trading / underwriting roles, now responsible for all Personal Lines trading and Broker development.
Dan is married with grown up children, new puppy (6 months old) and also enjoys golfing, cooking or watching football.

Distribution Manager
Reb has worked at Covéa for 17 years! She enjoys being out in the market and meeting people face to face as much as possible.
Out of work she is a 6.30am gym go-er, enjoys walking (in fair weather), spending time with her family, and also has a keen interest in well-being.
